BOO! It’s Halloween week and I can’t wait!!!
This year we are still having our annual pumpkin carve and outdoor movie but instead of a table full of themed Halloween treats, I am making BOO BOXES for our guests. Individual covered boxes of snacks and sweets make it easy to grab one and spread out after carving pumpkins to enjoy while watching a movie outside under the stars!
I filled each box with my typical Halloween themed food. Pistachio pudding in mini cauldrons make the perfect witch’s brew…and bone sprinkles add to the spookiness of what could be brewing in the pot.
Monster mouths are always a favorite. They are so simple to make. Just take green apples and cut them to look like mouths. Add gummy fangs and you are done!
Pigs in a blanket become Mummy Dogs on Halloween and this year, I added Creature Cheese. Take mini Baybel cheese and cut teeth in the wax. Add an eyeball sprinkle with a dab of icing and your creature is complete.
For the sweets, I took Rice Krispies Treats and cut them in half. I drizzled store bought cookie icing on top and added fun Halloween themed sprinkles and let them dry. I think they are so cute!
I also created cake pop popsicles this year by using a mini popsicle mold. There are a ton of video tutorials on how easy it is to create these.
I made candy covered Witch Fingers and filled them with Rice Krispies treats so it feels like you are biting into bones.
And last but not least, I made ghost pretzels. These are so fun and easy to make. Just take white chocolate covered pretzels and dab white cookie icing in two of the holes. Add eyeball sprinkles and let dry. I love these!
I filled the boxes with cheese and caramel popcorn and layered everything on top. I finished the boxes with the cutest labels which you can get here.
You can see it all come together in the video below.

So cute! I can’t wait for our friends to enjoy these! You can still celebrate, just be creative in the ways you can safely gather. And when it’s safe to party like we normally do, these BOO BOXES may just make a permanent appearance at our gatherings.
Stay spooky friends! And Happy Halloween!
