Nestlé makes it easier than ever to maximize the goodness of spring and the fun of Easter celebrations. I just love looking through the seasonal aisles in my local Walmart to get inspired as each holiday comes around. I enjoy getting themed candy and SweeTARTS Chicks, Ducks & Bunnies are classic SweeTARTS made in the coolest springtime shapes. They are great for decorating and filling Easter baskets! I also picked up a Scrambled Egg (with Nerds, Laffy Taffy, and Runts). How fun! My son loves to get a large egg filled with his favorite candies. And who doesn’t love Springtime Fun Dip? (The Easter bunny needs to leave me a couple of packages of these too.) Nerds Rope is a definite must and I grabbed a package of Egg Fillers with SweeTARTS, Laffy Taffy, and Nerds. I like to reuse our plastic Easter eggs each year and fill them with new candy. Guess what? There are Ibotta offers for some of these as well so you can save money while you shop!
I love the idea of a “basket” that can be used after the holiday! I picked up a cool wall display shelf that I personalized for my son. He can hang it in his room after the candy has all been eaten. It is really easy to personalize with vinyl. If you have a cutting machine you can use that, but even if you don’t, you can cut simple shapes and letters to make your own. I only used my cutting machine for my son’s name. I hand cut the strips for the edges as well as the shape to fit the back of the shelf. And if the idea of cutting letters scare you, just pick up sticker letters or chipboard letters at your local craft store and attach them. Check out my video tutorial to see how easy it is to personalize with vinyl.
How do you celebrate the holiday with your tweens? Nestlé has a ton of inspiration! You can see more here and on their Pinterest page. Hop to it! Easter’s on the way!
