{ DAY 1 }
How many of you have an Elf on the Shelf? Our elf, Elvin, joined our family in 2010 and has been so much fun! When I was a little girl, we had elves, but they were just part of our decorations. They didn’t have the “magic” that Elvin has! Last year, as we were unpacking our Christmas decorations, I found my childhood elf. She was quickly named Elvina and now she shares Elvin’s magic.
There are so many fun ideas for your Elf to do, so I thought I would share some of the antics our elves are up to this year. This morning we woke up to find Elvin & Elvina having fun in the tub with marshmallow “bubbles”!
It’s not too late to start the tradition with your kids or grandkids. You can choose between a boy elf or a girl elf. They even have fashion for the girl elves too! And you can also watch the story of how the elves get their magic and what they do each night when they report back to Santa in the movie. So get your very own Elf on the Shelf and let the magic begin! And be sure to follow our blog for daily posts about our zany elves. You can subscribe by email from the button at the top of the sidebar to the right. See you tomorrow!

You should check out The Pajama Elves by Hayden Edwards. It is the story of elves at the North Pole who sew magical pajamas that help children sleep on Christmas Eve, so Santa can visit unnoticed. Another fun Christmas tradition for families!
