Eat, Drink & Be Scary! This year we set the tone for our annual Pumpkin Carving Party with these adorable Halloween party invitations from Tiny Prints. How cute are all the little trick-or-treaters? And I couldn’t resist putting a picture of us in our costumes on the back…that was a fun year! Hope you like our little gathering. I’m sharing more of my favorite details after the photos.
I really do love Halloween! I have collected some fun pieces over the years that I always love to pull out and use year after year. My favorite ones have to be my Jack-O-Lantern Punch Bowl, my Skeleton Chips & Dip Bowl and my new addition this year, the Spider Cake Plate. All of these are from my fav, Glitterville! With pieces this cute, it really doesn’t matter what you put in them. They will always be a hit!
For our menu, we had Mummy Dogs, Vanishing Veggies, Skeleton Bones (white cheddar cheetos), Ghoulish Grapes & Cheese, Baba Ghanoush, Orange Ice Cream Punch, Donuts of Doom, Bat Donuts, & Cupcakes. A tip I discovered this year, I could prepare all of the Mummy Dogs and freeze them in advance. Then the day of the party, I just lined them up on a baking sheet and baked them. They were still hot when the party started and I wasn’t scrambling to clean up after making 40 Mummy Dogs.
And I just love how our little Jack-O-Lantern mason jar drinks turned out! They look so cute with our Orange Punch in it. Here’s a link back to our DIY tutorial on how to make them.
We had a photo booth this year and all the kids loved it! I gathered all my Halloween hats, masks, glasses, and signs and we had plenty to choose from for each person to get into the Halloween spirit. My fav for the photo booth was my tassle garland from Tassle & Twine. Such an easy way to add a statement to my backdrop.
For favors this year, I created goodie bags with smores made from Ghost Peeps, graham crackers and Hershey bars. I attached a smaller bag filled with candy corn to the front with my halloween favor tag stickers that I got from Tiny Prints. So cute!
After the kids finished carving their pumpkins, we set them all on the stone steps and lit them. I got pics of each one and am sending a copy of the photo with cute thank you notes that I got from Tiny Prints. They are so cute and they match our invites. I customized them to say “Your pumpkin was spooky!”
I hope you enjoy our pumpkin gathering! It was fun….until next year, Happy Halloween!
