Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin’ down the bunny trail, hippity hoppin’, Easter’s on it’s way! And it’s just around the corner. Easter comes early this year and I wanted to share with you some easy Easter brunch ideas you can use for your family celebration.
Instead of a big party this year, make your family dinner a little extra special with a few simple touches. Be sure to see my tips throughout the pictures.
1. Serve your meal on a platter. Don’t just let your family fix their plates. Serve your food on a platter. I just love this platter that says ‘Happy.’ It’s perfect for any occasion.
3. Let your family know what you’re serving with chalkboard menu markers. Just grab some chalk and write your menu items on these adorable bunny buffet markers. Keep your menu simple. To start, we had grapes, cheese with honey, and cinnamon rolls. For our main meal, we enjoyed an Easter ham, asparagus pastry puffs, and a spring salad. For dessert, I made a bunny cake…how much fun is that?!? And some mini cupcakes of course.
4. Enjoy a bouquet of fresh flowers. Tulips are in season this time of year, and they make for the easiest arrangements. I just love using pitchers as floral containers, and this one is perfect!
5. Think outside the egg holder. I love the cute little egg holders that pop up this time of year, but I rarely eat the eggs I put in them. So this year, I used it to serve mini cupcakes topped with sugar icing carrots for dessert.
I hope you and your family enjoy the Easter season! Celebrating can be easy and stress free by keeping your decor simple, your menu small, and your family close by. Happy Easter!
