Wow! Do I have a treat for you today?!? This amazing vintage airplane party was created by Laila of One Inspired Party and I am in love with every detail! My favorite are the food stations inspired by the different countries. A passport to yumminess! And a close second would have to be the hanger complete with child size airplanes. How cute! Be sure to read below to hear how Laila pulled it all together.
Designing and planning Juan Xavier’s first birthday was a complete pleasure. The fact that his mom loves to entertain and is literally all about the details was the icing on the cake!
Together with his mom, we came up with the theme and the planning began with me commissioning talented Johanna and Frank from Bambini Soiree to build my landing strip and airplanes. Keeping with our airport feel we felt it was important for guests to be greeted by an airline counter and walk through a gate leading them to the party.
Helen from Ever After floral did a stunning job using our color scheme to create centerpieces for our tables. The florals really added a pop of color to the party. Vintage suitcases, crates and tables from Unearthed Vintage were perfect to style around the party.
Chef Lars did an amazing job with the food and our concept of traveling with his approach of going around the world in flavors. With tables from Atlas Party Rental and suitcases from Unearthed Vintage we both styled the food and it turned into a beautiful (and delicious) edible display.
