Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 13 ~ Fun & Games
{ DAY 13 } One of our favorite games to play is UNO. But then we discovered UNO Attack! This is so much fun! You play like the original card game where you try to get rid of all of your cards first. But in this version of the game, if you don’t have a card in your hand that you can play, you have

It is rich and creamy and has oodles of powder sugar in it! I have included the recipe below. It makes a ton so keep some for yourself and package

{ DAY 11 } With all the business of the holidays upon us, we were reminded today of the true meaning of Christmas for us. We are going to have our own marshmallow roast by candlelight tonight while we watch Merry Christmas Charlie Brown!
Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 9 ~ Hanging Out
{ DAY 9 } A few days ago, Elvin became a Cirque du Soleil perfomer and Elvina wanted to get in on the act but she was a little more cautious so she decided to hang out on top of a bow and watch Elvin perform his death defying tricks! Leave us a comment and let us know where your elf has been found! We

Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 7 ~ Where’s Waldo?
{ DAY 7 } Have you ever read a Where’s Waldo book? My son loved these when he was younger and he was much better at finding Waldo than I ever was. So our elves decided to play their own version of Where’s Waldo in my son’s Christmas tree! They were kind of hard to find since his tree is full of small ornaments about

Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 5
{ DAY 5 } Our elves were caught “pink-handed” this morning! We have been barricaded by crepe paper. Our cats have enjoyed this as much as we have today! I have a feeling it may not stay up until December 25th. One of our kitties had fun attacking it last night. If you think your elf might enjoy pulling this prank on your family, I

{ DAY 4 } Our little elves are going to be in BIG trouble when the boss man hears about this! Elvin & Elvina put a fuzzy mustache on Santa and wrote “He, He, He!” with a dry erase pen on his sleeve! Hope the jolly old fellow has a good sense of humor! My son laughed and shook his head as soon as he
Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 3
{ DAY 3 } This was one of my son’s favorites so far! We woke up to find our elf “riding in a one horse sleigh”! He was riding in our sleigh cupcake holders! These are really cute. Instead of an elf, the sleigh “pulls” a cupcake! If you want some for your elf and your holiday celebrations, you can still find a few on

Elf on the Shelf Ideas ~ Day 1
{ DAY 1 } How many of you have an Elf on the Shelf? Our elf, Elvin, joined our family in 2010 and has been so much fun! When I was a little girl, we had elves, but they were just part of our decorations. They didn’t have the “magic” that Elvin has! Last year, as we were unpacking our Christmas decorations, I found my
