It’s SPRING! As promised, here is our dessert table for our Easter party this year! I just love the way it all came together. The green accents really make this a fresh look for any spring party! I have shared all the details below so you can create your own version just in time for Easter.
I created Easter printables last year and loved them so much that I was able to use them again this year! I got a paper tablecloth in a green & white motif from Target which worked perfectly for my backdrop and table topper. A wooden square wreath from Pier One is a great place to hang my banner! And Lauren from LIV Creativity made these amazing carrot cupcake toppers which I used on round sugar cookies, the super cute bunny bottoms which I used on dark chocolate (dirt) push pops and she also made the small carrots for my veggie patch cupcakes. I just love how they look in this super cute cupcake stand with a white picket fence around each layer that I picked up at Swoozie’s!
I love to serve carrot juice (really it’s mango peach juice which is so yummy!). The kids love it too! I dipped the rims of my glass bottles in melted candy melts and then in a bowl of sprinkles. Let them harden in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and you have an easy way to add a little fun to your glasses. I also included fresh baked carrot cake, key lime cake bites, bird’s nests & bunny tails to finish off our dessert table. Courtney from Pizzazzerie has the cutest recipe for bunny tails that you can make yourself! And top it off with three cute bunny egg holders and we are ready for our guests!
I hope you found some inspiration for your own Spring or Easter celebration! Now time to get ready for the Easter Egg Hunt…stay tuned for the cutest egg hunt signs I have ever seen! Coming soon in my next post!

Hey Amy,
I love all if your ideas, they are so wonderful and creative! I’m hosting my very first Easter and have been searching for fun and cute things to put out and love your bunny bottom push pops. Is there anyway you can give me quick instructions on how to make them?
I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much, and thank you for all of the inspiration!

Hi Ashley!
Thank you for your sweet words! The push pops are so easy to do! Just bake a chocolate sheet cake and let it cool. Hold your push pop containers upside down and push it down into the cake. You can take an extra “push part” and trim the edge off the sides with scissors so you have a flat disc on a stick. Use this to push the cake down to the bottom of the push pop container.
Add some chocolate frosting and repeat with a second layer of cake. Add more chocolate frosting to the top. Then I crumbled some of the chocolate cake on top of the icing to make it look like fresh dirt. Place a fondant bunny bottom on top (mine were from Lauren at LIV Creativity…love her work) and they are done!
Courtney Whitmore from Pizzazzerie came up with the brilliant way to fill the push pops and you can get all of her tips in her book “Push-Pops” along with the Push Pop containers they now sell at Michael’s craft stores.
I hope that helps! Have a wonderful Easter!!!

this is so adorable! We are having a bunny birthday for my soon to be 2 year old. What are those bunny tails? Is there a recipe?
Amy says
Thank you Kelley! They are actually store bought treats that I just unwrapped and put in a plate. I like to simplify things when I can. Here’s a link to them for you to see: http://amzn.to/1EAN6wS
Hope that helps!
